Squash BC has a thriving community of female squash players that come together to play, improve, compete, socialize, and share their love of the game. As part of our Growth Initiative, Squash BC is committed to increasing the number of female participants in our sport. We do this through female-focused programs and events, female leadership development opportunities, and targeted efforts to recruit and retain women and girls in squash. For opportunities to get more involved in squash, either recreationally or competitively, check out the content below or get in touch with your local squash facility. Programs & Events
Women’s Squash Week
Our flagship Women in Squash initiative is a Province-wide celebration of Women & Girls in Squash. Each fall, partner facilities across the province deliver incredible events focused on getting more Women & Girls to try and stick with squash! Visit our Women’s Squash Week page for more information about this year’s event!
Female-Only Courses
In the 2021-22 season, Squash BC ran three female-only courses across Grassroots Coaching and Officiating Development. Across the three events, we trained 32 new female leaders, who can now serve as role models in their clubs and communities. We look forward to running more female-only courses this season. You can check out all upcoming events on our Club Locker Event List or contact josh@squashbc.com if you are interested in taking a Coaching or Officiating course.

We are proud to share that Squash BC has more female members now than we had in our pre-pandemic season (shown below).
