Grassroots Coach & Program Coordinator 

Squash BC is seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to join our team as the new Grassroots Coach & Program Coordinator. The successful candidate will have an active and important role in the delivery and growth of Squash BC’s grassroots programs. 

This is a full-time fixed-term contract position (37.5 hours per week) that will contain approximately 30% of the hours of coaching and 70% of the hours of program development and coordination. This position will operate in a hybrid work environment between our Vancouver office, club facilities and the ability to work partially remotely. The position is scheduled to commence in October 2024 and will continue until October 2025 (12 Months), based on the selected candidate’s availability.

School Program Instructor 

Squash BC is seeking multiple enthusiastic instructors to assist with the delivery of our junior grassroots Squash in Schools program. We look to continue the success of the program which seen over 3,000 students to the sport of squash! This program is a key component of our Growth Initiative that introduces elementary school students to squash in a safe and fun environment. Note: Prior experience with squash is not required for this position. All selected instructors will be trained on our new Squash in Schools curriculum ahead of their first session. We encourage anyone with experience leading youth sports or recreation programs to apply! Successful candidates will lead or assist with Squash in Schools programs in their local communities. General Manager – Vancouver Racquets Club

Vancouver Racquets Club is a member-only not for profit Club, located just north of Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver, BC. Our mission is to provide affordable squash, badminton and fitness facilities and programming in the spirit of friendship, fair play and athletic excellence. VRC is seeking an efficient, energetic and motivated General Manager with a passion for community and sport.

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of VRC, ensuring a high-quality experience for our members, while leading a small team. This position is responsible for staff management, facility maintenance and improvements, customer service, oversight of all financial and management reporting, as well as collaborating with the Board and its sub-Committees to oversee and support the Badminton and Squash programming.

As a Squash Coach, you will assist with programing and contribute to our club culture both on and off the court. We offer many programs to our members including:
