VANCOUVER WOMEN’S DOUBLES SQUASH LEAGUE
The Vancouver Women’s Doubles Squash League (VWDSL) is operated and sanctioned by Squash BC. The League provides women’s doubles players in the Lower Mainland with opportunities to compete and socialize with those from other clubs in weekly match-ups. Major Change for the 2025/26 Season
The 2025/26 VWDSL is going to change to a five (5) teams format with one team having a bye each week, which will allow more playing opportunities for players.
2025/26 Season: Key Dates (Subject to change)
- League Registration Deadline: September 15 @ Noon
- Doubles Rules Q&A Session: September 20
- League Start Date: October 2
- League Holiday Break: December 19 to January 7
- Last Regular Season Match: February 26
- Semi Finals: March 12
- Final: April 2

Registration
The 2025/26 VWDSL Registration Fees will be $60 + GST per player. Participants can register now on the 2025/26 VWDSL Registration Page.

* All players must be full Squash BC members throughout the duration of the season
Spare Player
The 2025/26 VWDSL Spare Registration Fees will be $30 + GST per player and allows up to 3 matches throughout the season (Oct-Apr). Participants can register now on the 2025/26 VWDSL Registration Page and select the spare option for pricing during registration. After the third game, the spare player can upgrade their registration, via e-Transfer, to a regular player if they would like to play 4 or more matches. Please note that all participants must be full Squash BC members throughout the duration of the season.

VWDSL Host Venue Schedule
Similar to last season we will be utilizing just 2 of the 4 clubs for half the season and flipping the two clubs over the holiday break. Matches from October to December will be played on Thursday’s at either Evergreen Squash Club or the Vancouver Lawn Tennis & Badminton Club. With the second half of the season with matches taking place from January to April at Hollyburn Country Club and the Vancouver Racquets Club.
VWDSL Advisory Committee
This season we are implementing the VWDSL Advisory Committee and are looking for at least 1 committee member from each club. The Advisory Committee will support the league, enhancing communication between the league and players. Additionally, it will facilitate feedback from Squash BC and VWDSL participants, aiming to ensure that the VWDSL becomes the best possible squash league going forward! Upcoming Rules Clinic
Doubles Rules Clinic – February 21, 2026 – VRC
Join us for a Squash Canada Doubles Officiating Certification Course. This clinic is the starting point of becoming a certified doubles official in the Squash Canada doubles officiating pathway. Even if you don’t want to become a certified official, the clinic provides detailed information on the rules to assist players in better enjoying their games. This course will cover the important rules you need to know about the rules of the doubles game and have a better understanding of let’s, strokes and no let’s. The clinic consists of a slideshow, an exam and lots of open discussions. There will also be some videos of real situations and the calls made.

Squash Doubles Q&A Session – To be Determined
Join us for a Squash BC Doubles Q&A session at VRC. This session is geared for players new to the doubles game or more experienced players wishing to learn more about playing situations to better enjoy their games. The intent is an interactive session on how to improve game flow while maintaining safety on the court. Strategy tips within the squash rules will be discussed.
