Squash BC is seeking Masters (40+) members interested in representing British Columbia at the 2026 Canadian Masters Team Championships, taking place January 23–25, 2026, in Midtown Le Sporting Club Sanctuaire, Montreal, Quebec.
BC will be represented by one team consisting of four (4) men and three (3) women in the following age categories:
- Women: 40+, 45+, 50+
- Men: 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+
Major Policy Change for 2026
Beginning with the 2026 Championships:
- All athletes must compete in at least one Squash BC sanctioned tournament, league, or championship between September 1, 2024 and November 16, 2025.
- Athletes who have previously represented Team BC but face barriers to current play may submit a Participation Exemption Request outlining their contributions to the sport and current circumstances for review.

Application & Selection Process Deadlines
Interested athletes must submit an Athlete Declaration of Interest form by November 9, 2025 at 11:59pm to be considered for the 2026 Team BC masters Provincial Team.
The Team BC 2026 Canadian Masters Team Championships Selection Criteria outlines the full process for selecting the team.
- The Team will be based on the strength of the players on the team, regardless of age.
- Team Selection invitations will be sent the Week of November 17 – 21, 2025
- Athletes selected will have seven (7) days to confirm their participation upon notification.
- Squash BC rankings as of November 16, 2025, will be used.
Team Support
Squash BC will:
- Cover the team’s registration fee for the event.
- A full team roster of seven (7) eligible athletes is required.
- Provide each selected athlete with a Squash BC team shirt.
- Promote any fundraising initiatives of the team.
