2023 BC Junior Team Championships Recap

From June 3-4th, BC’s top juniors took to the courts at the Evergreen Squash Club for the inaugural BC Junior Team Championships. Eight clubs fielded teams to compete in a weekend of fun, intense, and action-packed matches for the coveted new title.

Squash BC thanks the coaches for their help in arranging the teams and for making sure they put their best juniors up to the task for this first time tournament. With this event’s resounding success, Squash BC looks forward to growing this particular event in the future and potentially hosting similar tournaments in this format.

Squash BC extends a huge thank you to Colin Brown for spearheading the launch of this event. As well, we thank Simon Bicknell. He and Colin refereed all matches throughout the weekend, giving our juniors a well-deserved break. Finally, a big thank you to Evergreen Squash Club for hosting the event.
