The Province’s Top Silver Series Juniors Came Together For an Exciting Season Finale
The 2025-26 Silver Series season closed on a high note this May in Shawnigan Lake, with 56 participants competing for double the points to improve their yearly standings. Congratulations to all of our Division Finalists!

A Key Pathway for Youth Development
With the schedule expanding from 9 to 14 tournament stops, plus four provincial Silver Series events and the annual championship finals, junior athletes across the province had more opportunities than ever to compete, grow, and rise through the ranks. Beyond the results, this season reaffirmed why the Silver Series remains a cornerstone of junior squash development in BC. The program is intentionally designed to welcome youth into competitive play in an accessible, supportive environment—giving new athletes their first taste of tournament squash while providing returning players the structure they need to grow. With more events, more match experience, and more opportunities to measure progress, the Silver Series helps young athletes build confidence, develop foundational skills, and chart their pathway toward higher‑level competition.
Many of this year’s standout juniors began their journey in the Silver Series, and their progression into Gold and Platinum events highlights just how vital this program is in nurturing the next generation of competitive squash players.
Rising Talent Across the Province
This season showcased a wave of emerging talent. Many returning juniors climbed significantly from their previous standings, while others made the leap from Silver Series competition into Gold and Platinum‑level events, demonstrating the strength and depth of BC’s developing squash community.
