The BC Jesters 2026 Post-Secondary Championships delivered a full day of action-packed competitions. On Saturday March 21, 2026, the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) welcomed a dynamic mashup of 20 UBC athletes and BC Jesters to compete in an unforgettable day of squash.
The tournament day wrapped up with a fun Saturday Night Social at R&B Brewing, where players connected off the court over pizza and refreshments—concluding a fantastic day of sport and community.
This year’s tournament featured a combined competition format with players competing across 3 tiered divisions: Gold Tier, Silver Tier, and Bronze Tier. Each division showcased strong performances and highly competitive matches, giving players the opportunity to challenge themselves in a fun and engaging environment.

Squash BC extends a sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of this tournament. We are grateful to BCIT and their recreational staff for their hospitality and willingness to welcome this year’s tournament at their facilities. Their support alongside their two glass courts complimented with tables and ping pong tables to entertain waiting players made BCIT an outstanding tournament venue!
We would also like to extend our appreciation and gratitude to the PSI Committee for their outstanding dedication in coordinating and delivering this year’s tournament. Their efforts, along with the support of volunteers and referees, were beyond extraordinary, and instrumental in the tournament’s success!
Everyone’s contributions made this tournament a memorable success! Squash BC and BC Jesters are excited to continue growing the post-secondary squash community across British Columbia, and to welcome even more student-athletes from different post-secondary institutions throughout BC in future programming and tournaments.
Competition Results:
Participants were placed into 1 of the 3 divisions based on their Club Locker Ratings, ensuring balanced and competitive matches throughout the tournament. The tournament featured thrilling matches with games extending to 16-14. Several 5-game matches occurred including the Bronze Tier Final featuring Karen Levine and Cara James, the eventual Bronze Tier Winner!
With 14 UBC players and 6 Jesters competing, Jesters athletes made a strong impact across the divisions, earning multiple podium finishes.
