NCCP Manage a Sport Program

The NCCP Manage a Sport Program module provides coaches with the opportunity to plan and interact with program budgeting, setting staff and team expectations, arranging team travel, building athlete agreements, and reporting on athlete/team progress.

  • Date: Thursday, October 2 – 2:30PM-6:30PM
  • Location: Zoom (a link will be sent prior to the meeting)
  • Fees: $75 + GST

NCCP Prevention & Recovery

Injuries in sport are preventable. However, successfully preventing injuries requires a great deal of planning and constant monitoring. The NCCP Prevention and Recovery module provides strategies and techniques to prevent injury, while also improving performance. These 2 concepts are closely connected. Strategies that help with 1 of the concepts, directly influence the other.

This workshop supports coaches in preventing injury. It does not prepare coaches to intervene medically with an injured athlete. It’s highly recommended that coaches take a first-aid course or have someone who has first-aid training be on site with them at all times during practices.

  • Day 1: Thursday, October 2 – 9:30AM-1:15PM
  • Day 2: Friday, October 3 – 9AM-12:45PM
  • Location: Zoom (a link will be sent prior to the meeting)
  • Fees: $110 + GST
