Squash BC is excited to announce our inaugural Women in Squash: Leadership Conference! This conference will take place from March 24-25, 2023 at the Vancouver Lawn Tennis & Badminton Club. We have two action-packed days of development opportunities themed around growing female leadership in our sport and growing the female squash community across BC.
Interested participants can Register Now on Club Locker: Women in Squash: Leadership Conference Registration
Friday Program
Friday Evening will start at 6 PM with a speaker and panel discussion focused on best practices for launching and developing female programming at your facility or community. Experts will share their success stories of growing female membership, engaging and marketing to female participants, building female-focused programs, and more!
Friday Evening attendees will be treated to appetizers and receive a complimentary drink ticket. The evening doesn’t end there though! All attendees are invited to bring their squash gear and racquets to participate in a fun on-court mix-and-match, which includes singles and doubles play! All levels of play are welcome in this social-focused evening.
Saturday Program
On Saturday, Squash BC is excited to deliver Squash Canada’s new Community Coaching Course! In it, participants will learn the necessary fundamentals of coaching beginner and recreational squash players. The course will be facilitated by Giselle Delgado. As both an accomplished player and coach, Giselle runs a strong girls’ squash program at Cedar Hill Squash Club in Victoria. She will provide you with guidance and insight in leading or assisting with programs at your local facility.
