Squash BC is thrilled to announce that this spring, the 2023 BC Squash Championships will take place at Global Racquets & Fitness Centre in Kelowna! From April 28-30, the interior of BC will play host to Squash BC’s Provincial Championships for the first time in the event’s history.

The 2023 BC Squash Championships will truly be an event for everyone. Top players will compete for titles and prize money in Men’s and Women’s Open Divisions, while Masters and ratings-tiered divisions will appeal to all ages and levels of play. In addition to squash, the event will offer several supplementary activities including:

  • Saturday evening social with appetizers and drinks
  • A local wine tour for players competing in women’s divisions
  • Fun mini-events and games scheduled in between matches
  • Draw prizes, court-side refreshments, and more!

Squash BC will also be offering group transportation for participants traveling from the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island* regions. We will also soon announce our tournament hotel and group rates.

*Group transportation for Vancouver Island participants will be available from the Tsawwassen ferry terminal.

BC Squash Championships History

The BC Squash Championships is Squash BC’s largest provincial championship and a key piece of our athlete pathway. It gives our membership and competitive population the opportunity to showcase their performance in an exciting season-ending event. As well, with Men’s and Women’s divisions ranging from Open, to Masters, to Recreational, the event truly has something for everyone in the squash community.

The 2022 BC Squash Championships were hosted by the Arbutus Club in Vancouver BC. Grace Thomas and Ryan Picken won the Women’s and Men’s Open Division titles, respectively.
