Roving Ambassador Trips Contribute to Success at Comox Community Centre

The Comox Community Centre is starting their third Intro to Squash sessions of the 2021-22 season. This shows the continued growth of their programming in Northern Vancouver Island area. The facility started their 2021 season in September with 7 junior participants across three junior programs and grew that number to 12 for the November session. Comox Community Centre has more than tripled their number of junior participants compared to their September session with 22 juniors participating in their program now!
The Squash BC Roving Ambassador Program sent coaches Giselle Delgado (pictured) and Shawn Zwierzchowski to support local programming, coaches, and facility staff at the Recreation Centre during three visits. The Roving Ambassador Program is a flagship program of Squash BC’s Growth Initiative. Squash BC would like to congratulate coaches Jayson Fuerstenberg and Joseph Bowes, and Comox Recreation Programmer Laura Weston for the success of program growth in the region! Thank you to the donors of the Building the Future Fund who make opportunities like this possible!
