Women’s Squash Week 2025 started on September 19, and officially wrapped up on October 6, marking the most successful year so far. This year, we saw an unprecedented level of engagement, with a record number of facilities and events coming together to celebrate women in squash.
In total, 61 events were hosted across 25 facilities, with participation in seven of the eight provincial zones, reflecting the growth of Women’s Squash Week across the province. Over 700 players were engaged, and many of them were new to squash. This incredible reach was made possible with the help of 33 Ambassadors bringing WSW events to life at their local facilities.
Women’s Squash Week is a celebration of women in squash, an opportunity to strengthen community, celebrate women in squash, and increase participation in the sport. From introductory lessons, to drop-ins, to mini tournaments, to exhibition games, and more, every event this year contributed to creating welcoming spaces, fostering connection, and growing the game.
This year has been a great success, and we could not have done it without our passionate volunteers, facility partners, and, most importantly, the players who showed up.
Thank you for making Women’s Squash Week 2025 one to remember. We can’t wait for Women’s Squash Week 2026!
