Team Canada returned from Santiago, Chile with two team medals: silver for the junior women and bronze for the junior men!
The women’s team, featuring BC’s Veera Dhaliwal, went undefeated in round robin play and battled their way to the finals, finishing with silver. The men’s team, including BC athletes Anderson Brown, Orin Song, and Yusuf Matti-Alvarez, earned bronze after big wins over Mexico and Brazil.
There were also standout individual performances, with several athletes finishing ahead of their seedings and showing incredible growth on the international stage.
