Squash BC is proud to celebrate and recognize the achievements of seven dedicated referees who have advanced along the Squash Canada Officiating Pathway during the 2024/25 season.
National Referee Certification
We sincerely congratulate Simon Bicknell, who has become just the second referee in BC to achieve National Referee Certification status. Simon has been an instrumental leader in our officiating community, consistently supporting the growth and development of referees across the province. His commitment and mentorship have made a significant impact on the quality and professionalism of officiating in BC.
Provincial Referee Certification
Squash BC would also like to congratulate the following referees on their promotion to Provincial Referee Certification status:
- Kiowa Martin
- Sam Crawford
Both Kiowa and Sam have been outstanding contributors to the sport, generously giving their time and expertise at nearly every Provincial Championship in recent years. Their dedication to fair play and officiating excellence is an inspiration to others in the squash community.
Local Referee Certification
Congratulations to the newest referees who have earned Local Referee Certification:
- Ben Uliana
- Lucas Jessa
- Maryam Kasmaei
- Navin Samarasinghe
These individuals represent the growing officiating team that is developing their skills through the Aussie Pie Guy Referee Development Program. Their enthusiasm, learning mindset, and early contributions have already strengthened our officiating network, and we look forward to seeing their continued growth in the years to come.
