On the heels of the successful Connor, Clark & Lunn Private Capital 2025 Canadian Championships, the 2026 Canadian Junior and Senior Championships, will return to the west coast, hosted by the Arbutus Club in Vancouver, BC. The 2026 edition will run consecutively with the Junior Championships taking place April 25 – 28, followed by the Senior Championships from April 29 – May 5.

British Columbia last hosted in 2022, where the Championships drew the largest number of participants in the tournament’s history. Building on that momentum, the 2026 iteration will aim to offer an exciting stage for the country’s best players and an exceptional experience for fans and supporters alike.

“It’s an honour to welcome the Canadian Squash community back to B.C. for this premier event,” said Kim Dennis, Executive Director of Squash BC. “Events like this are key to driving awareness and engagement in the sport, inspiring new audiences, and fuelling participation across all ages and levels. We’re excited to celebrate excellence on court while building momentum for the future of squash in our province.”

“We are excited The Arbutus Club has been selected as the host venue for the 2026 Canadian Squash Championships,” said Larry Ho, Chief Executive Officer of The Arbutus Club. “This prestigious event aligns perfectly with our longstanding tradition of supporting excellence in sport and fostering a strong athletic community. We look forward to welcoming Canada’s premier squash athletes and providing an exceptional environment for all participants.”

British Columbia has long been a driving force in Canadian squash with the province consistently producing top-tier talent and fostering a strong passion for the sport at all levels. Hosting the event in Vancouver is not only a celebration of the athletes but a fitting tribute to B.C.’s deeply passionate squash community.

“We are incredibly excited and honoured to be selected as the host venue for the 2026 Canadian Squash Championships,” said Dave Glass, Tournament Director. “This is a tremendous opportunity for our squash community, and we are eagerly looking forward to welcoming the top junior and senior players from across the country. Hosting a national championship is not only a privilege—it is a celebration of the sport we love, and we cannot wait to showcase our facilities, our passion, and the spirit of squash in British Columbia.”
