The BC Jesters 2025 Post Secondary Championships made a historic return to the BC Provincial Championships Series for the first time since 2018. Hosted at the University of Victoria, this exciting event brought together 23 student athletes from five post-secondary institutions: University of Victoria (UVIC), University of British Columbia (UBC), University of the Fraser Valley (UFV), UBC Okanagan (UBCO), and Camosun College. Athletes had the opportunity to compete in two formats: a Team Competition, where they proudly represented their school, and an Individual Competition, ensuring participants could showcase their skills and enjoy competitive matches throughout the weekend.

This incredible weekend would not have been possible without the generous support of the BC Jesters. As Title Sponsor of both the Championship and Post-Secondary Program, the BC Jesters provided financial backing to reduce registration fees and provide travel subsidies, eliminating financial barriers for students. Their investment demonstrates a shared vision of fostering growth and accessibility in collegiate squash.

At the start of the event, BC Jesters Chair Karen Levine shared an inspiring message to the participants, underscoring the organization’s commitment to the post-secondary squash community:

“On behalf of the BC Jesters, I want to extend a warm welcome to all of the participants in the inaugural BC Jesters Post-Secondary Championship. The Jesters organization is committed to the growth and development of squash, and the BC Chapter has chosen the post secondary demographic as our first partnership investment with Squash BC, providing both a bridge from junior to adult programming and competition, as well as introducing squash to those that are seeing it for the first time. We hope that all of you enjoy both the on court and off court camaraderie and competition this weekend, take that energy back to your campus, and become ambassadors for this wonderful sport!”

We also extend a heartfelt thanks to our donors, whose ongoing contributions help ensure post-secondary athletes have the opportunity to continue playing squash while building vibrant campus squash communities.
