Welcome Tasha Doucas and Zoe Lo to the team! Tasha takes over as Interim Executive Director following the departure of Colin Latchford, while Zoe joins the team as the new Competitions Coordinator.
Tasha has been on the Squash BC Board since 2018, having also served as President of the Board for two terms. With her work in the community over the years, Tasha brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to support the organization’s transitional period. Having played singles since the age of 13 and having grown a passion for doubles squash, and more recently taking part in the coaching certification program, Tasha now brings a strong squash acumen to the operational side of Squash BC. She is excited to take on this transitional role to best support the organization and its community!
Zoe has always had a passion for sports. She was a rugby player, a road cyclist and a trail runner when she was younger. Her passion in sports led her into the sports industry and she enjoys her work in sports and events. She has experience in organizing and coordinating local and international tournaments and competitions, officiating, and event management. She has also worked as recreation coordinator for non-profits. Zoe is excited to join and serve the Squash BC community with her experience and passion for sports. She is also excited to work towards the growth of competitive squash across BC, and bring enjoyable tournaments and events to the community.
