Victoria Community Coaching Course – Register Now

Interested in becoming a grassroots or community squash coach? Then you should take the Community Squash Instructor Course! Squash BC is thrilled to deliver the Community Squash Instructor Course on January 20, 2024 at the University of Victoria. The course will be facilitated by Ben Uliana.

Course Description

The Community Squash Instructor Course and the Multi-sport modules (NCCP Make Ethical Decisions course & NCCP Coach Initiation in Sport eLearning) provide all the training necessary to help introduce the fundamentals of squash to beginners at all ages.

By becoming a ‘Trained Community Squash Instructor’ you may assist Certified Coaches in your club or local community (ie. school teams, grassroots programming, beginner clinics etc.).

This course is geared towards those who are club volunteers, recreational players, teachers, older juniors or parents who do not coach full time but would like to learn the basic skills of squash instruction at the grassroots level.

Time: 9 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Subject to change)

Venue: University of Victoria – CARSA

Fee: $125 + GST per participant ($150 + GST for non-Squash BC members). UVIC Students will receive a discounted registration price, please contact programs@squashbc.com to register as a UVIC student.

All participants will receive a Squash Canada Community Squash Instructor workbook, Squash BC notebook and course registration.

There will be instruction on and off the courts so please bring squash gear.
