Squash BC is excited to announce that the Vancouver Racquets Club will be the host facility for the 2023 BC Junior Squash Championships. The event will take place from April 14th to 16th. The BC Junior Squash Championships serves as the top junior provincial championship event for athletes from across British Columbia.
The BC Junior Squash Championships is a closed age category event, where all players must play in their appropriate age category and meet provincial residency requirements in order to participate in the event. More information regarding residency requirements can be found below.
The early-bird registration deadline ($65.00 + GST) is March 22nd at Noon and the regular registration deadline ($75.00 + GST) is April 5th at Noon. Note: Participants must register by the end of day on March 26th to guarantee a souvenir event shirt from the tournament.

Juniors wishing to participate on Squash BC High Performance Program teams or to be eligible for Squash BC Funding Programs must compete in the 2023 BC Junior Squash Championships. Athletes that are unable to participate in the event may submit an exemption application, indicating why they are unable to compete in the Championships prior to the start of the tournament. Applications are to be sent in writing to the Squash BC Program Coordinator at josh@squashbc.com.
Squash BC is seeking referees for the 2023 Championships. If you are interested in officiating at the event please complete the Officials Expression of Interest Form, by March 31st. Selected officials will be notified by April 5, 2023.

BC Junior Squash Championships Eligibility Requirements:
- Athletes must be members of Squash BC, AND
i) must have physically resided in BC and maintained their primary address in BC for the 12 months preceding a Closed Championship, OR
ii) must be Canadian Citizens or have Permanent Resident status and must have a permanent address in BC.
2. If requested by Squash BC, proof of residency must be provided to Squash BC in the form of:
i) A household utility bill with a BC address and the family name or guardian’s name; or
ii) A mortgage, lease or rental agreement for habitable dwelling listing a BC address and the family name or guardian’s name.
