The 2023 BC Jesters Doubles Tournament was once again an incredible success and a significant fundraiser for Squash BC’s Building the Future Fund. The BC Jesters generously contributed all registration revenue and additional donations to support the growth and development of grassroots squash in BC.
A total of 44 participants took place in this year’s event which had many competitive and fun matches throughout the week. This year’s final saw Jillian Anderson and Morgan Latremouille squeak out a hard-fought victory over Mike Carrier and Fungpiew Lim to claim the 2023 championship.
This year’s event raised just over $3,500 in registration revenue, donations, and sponsors all of which were matched 100% by an incredibly generous anonymous donor. This means that the event generated more than $7,000 for the Building the Future Fund!
Squash BC thanks the BC Jesters for their incredible support of squash and commitment to our programming efforts. As well, we thank Tournament Director Luke Elliot and all tournament organizers, volunteers, participants, and donors. We look forward to another incredible event in 2024!
