Squash BC is excited to share that 2022-23 Junior Pathway Program and Event Grant Applications are now open!
Squash Starters Programs:
Squash Starters Programs are minimum six-week session programs, which support the athletic development of participants on and off the squash court! Programs must be led by a Safe Sport-compliant leader, who will guide participants towards meeting the Squash BC physical, tactical, and technical competencies for each level of play. Squash Starters Programs can vary from club to club, as the program leader has the freedom to put their own spin on the program contents and delivery – but ALL Squash Starters Programs are focused on safe, fun, and effective athlete development!
Squash Starters Tour Events:
The Squash Starters Tour Events is an event series focused on FUN where newer junior players can experience squash competition in a safe and welcoming environment. Facilities and coaches wishing to host a Squash Starters Tour Event can get up to $300 in funding per event. With this grant, event hosts can also receive free event equipment and souvenirs, along with marketing and promotion from Squash BC.
Junior Silver Series Events:
The Junior Silver Series is a regionalized tournament series that gives players outside the top of Squash BC’s provincial junior ranki9ngs the opportunity to compete and experience success. Facilities and coaches wishing to host a Junior Silver Series Event can get up to $300 in funding per event. With this grant, event hosts can also receive free event equipment and souvenirs, along with marketing and promotion from Squash BC.
