Gamble Charity Doubles Tournament Raises over $5000 for Autism Speaks Canada

The Gamble doubles is a handicap tournament based on age. This year we hosted the 31st annual “100” event and 10th annual “75” event and held the 1st annual Womens “100” event. the “100 is for older players an the “75” for younger players.

46 participants enjoyed a calcutta and dinner at VRC on Nov 29 to bid on 23 teams. 20% of the bidding pool goes to Autism Speaks Canada and $25 of each players entry also was a donation.Play started on Nov 30 and ended on Sunday Dec 5th with finals at VRC.

The tournament raised $5,470 for Autism Speaks Canada. I am blown away at the generosity of all participants in supporting the tournament and the charity.
