BC’s Poulton & Jacobs Win US National Masters Titles

From October 22-24, five BC Masters Athletes travelled to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for the 2021 U.S. National Squash Masters Championships. Two of our players took home titles. Read on for a full list of BC results.

Victoria’s Gerald Poulton (pictured above left) won the Men’s 75+ Singles title, defeating Utah’s Norbert Kornyei 11-5, 11-8, 8-11, 8-11, 11-4 in the final. Garibaldi Highland’s Steve Jacobs (pictured above right) prevailed in the Men’s 70+ Singles division, winning the final 11-6, 11-5, 11-9 over Michael Kilgallon of Georgia.

In Men’s 65+ action, White Rock’s Thomas Bedore and Vancouver’s Rashid Aziz both won through their round robin groups, finishing in second and third overall respectively. Vancouver’s Mark Ingram also competed in the Men’s 50+ division.
