SQUASH CANADA PUBLISHES “RETURN TO PLAY” RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CLUBS, COACHES, AND PLAYERS

In light of provincial and municipal governments beginning to outline their plans for reducing or removing COVID-19 related restrictions, Squash Canada has been working collaboratively with all provincial and territorial squash associations to develop pan-Canadian Guidelines for players.
Squash BC was integral in this process and as such, fully supports these recommendations to be applied appropriately within each club or facility plan in British Columbia.
It must be acknowledged that Squash facilities in the province are all different and operate as such. Government and public health authorities may impose certain restrictions on athletic or fitness facilities, and the club or facility management may implement certain measures and precautions to reduce the risk of infection transmission while practicing or playing squash.
Return to Play Recommendations have been developed and provided to Club Administrators Coaches and anyone organizing squash activities. Your facility will be looking at Return to Play plans and timelines. Check with your squash facility for details.
To do our part as players, Squash Canada also recommends we adhere to the Return to Play Guidelines for Players.
Please refer to the Recommendations posted on our website  https://www.squashbc.com/w/COVID-19Resources
Stay safe, play safe!
